I presume you are referring to the
http://download3.openlinksw.com/uda/virtuoso/7.2/jdbc/virtjdbc4.jar available
from http://vos.openlinksw.com/owiki/wiki/VOS/VOSDownload#Jena%20Provider ,
which did have a permissions problem that has just been fixed ...
and the Virtuoso Jena Provider is the most common methods Jena users use for
connectivity to the Virtuoso RDF Storage as detailed at:
