I've switched from zaphfc to visdn and really happy. It compiles and works for me "out of the box", at least in TE mode. I have two HFC-S PCI cards in a PC, configured one into TE mode and one into NT mode, strictly following the samples. The card in TE mode works perfect for me. The NT mode does not work at all. Any comes to the telephone. sysfs shows NT mode. Is there anything special to be observed when running a card in NT mode? How do you wire the crossover cable? I've found two different wiring schemes on the net ... Isn't it necessary to use a static TEI on the NT card?
