This bug really exists. I get no visdn activity after
running visdn_configurator a second time. As an additional
nuisance module removal fails (visdn_netdev):

unregister_netdevice: waiting for visdn1 to become free. Usage count = 1

That is after
        1. running visdn_configurator twice
        2. picking up a phone (on the HFC-PCI NT line)
        3. hearing no dialtone
        4. trying to remove modules
        5. no chance -> reboot

It caused me to reboot my computer more often in the last week
than in the entire last year.

So it would be nice, if you could have a look at it, Daniele.
Or would it be sufficent just to remove visdn_hfc_pci? That
pops out really fine.

Also, I had another aborted call with asterisk crash yesterday.
Unfortunately again no logs. So there is only the one I sent
to the list recently.

On the good side: I dared to try hold and retrieve and IT WORKED!
Great stuff!

P.S. running snapshot visdn-devel-20060225
