First I want to say thanks to the mailing-list. It helped me a lot ... But, I'm still having some troubles getting visdn up and running.

I'm running a Debian with Kernel 2.6.8, have Asterisk 1.2.4 with a FritzPci working quite good, but vISDN gives me sleeples nights. I've installed it, configured it, deleted it, installed udev, installed it again ... ;) - Asterisk starts with no Errors - but when i try to make a call the following error occurs: ( verbosity 10, debug visdn generic on ):

   -- Executing Dial("SIP/gs1-20f7", "VISDN/visdn0/9999") in new stack
   -- Calling visdn0 on VISDN/null

Parked calls:

What have I forgotten? The error is quite understandable, but I find no solution. How do I activate the device? I've googled, I've read the mailing-list archive, but I found nothing.

ifconfig shows no visdn device. should it? ifup visdn, ifup visdn0 ... tried almost everything ...

Greetings, Jesko Mägle
