Hello, I've got a SuSE 9.2 machine on which I'm trying to install vISDN.
I've succesfully built the kernel modules. They load fine. udev creates devices nodes in the wrong directory (directly below /dev), but I've made symlinks so that should be no problem I guess: ec-control -> ../ec-control netdev-control -> ../netdev-control router-control -> ../router-control streamport -> ../streamport timer -> ../system timers/system -> /dev/system I'm also loading the zaptel driver zt_dummy, because its timer is needed by MeetMe in asterisk. The machine crashes moments after running visdn_configurator: office:~ # visdn_configurator D: 000006 E: 000007 In /var/log/messages (timestamps cut for clarity): visdn_netdev: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag. visdn-netdev: Netdevice gateway loading kfifo: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag. kfifo: module license 'unspecified' taints kernel. visdn_streamport: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag. visdn-streamport: vISDN streamport module loading CSLIP: code copyright 1989 Regents of the University of California PPP generic driver version 2.4.2 visdn_ppp: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag. visdn-ppp: vISDN ppp gateway module loading visdn_timer_system: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag. vts_timer_open() visdn_ec: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag. visdn-ec-kb: echo canceller module for vISDN loading visdn_hfc_4s: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag. hfc-4s: HFC-4S HFC-8S Driver loading visdn_hfc_usb: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag. hfc-usb: HFC-USB Driver loading usbcore: registered new driver hfc-usb visdn_hfc_e1: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag. hfc-e1: HFC-E1 Driver loading lapd: module not supported by Novell, setting U taint flag. The aim is to use the card in TE mode with asterisk 1.2. Any help greatly appreciated. -- Erik Hensema ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) _______________________________________________ Visdn-hackers mailing list [email protected] https://mailman.uli.it/mailman/listinfo/visdn-hackers
