I have two versions of visdn that I install. One is directly compiled from
sources (/usr/src/visdn) and the other is installed from rpm (built
in /usr/src/redhat/build). If installed from source compile the device-pci
file goes into /usr/local/etc/visdn and if installed from rpm it goes
into /etc/visdn.

In the rpm I move the visdn_configurator from /usr/sbin to /usr/local/sbin. I
do this otherwise the install/compile fails for some reason (cant remember!!).

Can anyone shed any light on why visdn_configurator looks in different places
for the device-pci- file? relative paths used? some variable?

It would be nice if this can be made a 'science' rather than the 'art' it is
now. Any help appreciated! (really a lot!)
