First of all hello to everybody there,
and thanks to Daniel for his great job. Outgoing from a linux-machine which is equipped with one ISDN-HFC-PCI card (from Billion) that is connected to my NTBA I recently downloaded visdn-0.10.14.tar.bz2, untarred and installed it (./configure, make, make install, depmod -a, ldconfig), on my system (Suse Linux 9.3) and created the directory /etc/visdn where I copied the deice-pci-xxx-file to. Than I copied the file 30-visdn.rules-oldudev into /etc/undev/rules.d/30-visdn.rules. After I copied the file visdn.conf into /etc/asterisk/ I rebooted the system and then executed visdn_configurator. As a result I saw the interface visdn0 after tipping in ifconfig. Now, my aim is to trace the ISDN-Traffic with tethereal. So I applied the patches ethereal-encap-table.diff and ethereal-visdn.diff to my ethereal-sourcecode (ethereal-0.10.14), compiled and build it then. After that I downloaded the packages libpcap-0.9.3-9vihai an dlibpcap-debuginfo-0.9.3-7vihai from the visdn-website and integrated them into my system. Afterwards, I startet tethereal with tethereal -i visdn0 to trace on that interface. A Phone call to the telephone number of the NTBA resulted in a trace of two messages "sll unicast to us". Now, my problem is, that I want to see the ISDN messages coming in to my interface and not the sll information. I would be very pleased when someone could help me to solve this problem.
