Hi,

That is correct. You should be fine with patch 662. The various
patches on this mailinglist are (mainly) neccessary to compile visdn
on new kernels (2.6.16+).

s> Which patch fixes this sound problem and in which files?
I don't know anything about this sound problem, and I don't think
there's a patch for it, sorry. If the sound is a kind of 50Hz
electrical burring type, your problem should not be visdn. The
transmission is digital, so this should'nt be the cause. What kind of
phones are you using? If you use SIP phones, try another codec.

I had such a noise once, and was deperately searching for it's reason.
After weeks without luck (I checked all cables etc) I discovered that
my ISDN telephone had a bug. It seems that there was a bad connection
in the telephone receiver causing a soft burr which I only heart if
there was no other sound coming over the line (like when dialing etc).
Hitting the telephone receiver on the desk once solved the problem. :)

Good luck
Arne
