You can use any Subversion client to connect to VisualSVN Server. Please check that you use the same URL that is shown in the VisualSVN Server Manager. Please could you also try to use standard Subversion svn command-line client (svn.exe) to connect to the server: http://svnbook.red-bean.com/en/1.5/svn.ref.svn.html.
