Hello, I' m using VisualSVN Server and its a geat compilation, Thanks in advanced for that.
I just port ist to run in anywhere (portable version), currently i just need to copy the files for any computer and click in a bat that call \bin \VisualSVNServer.exe and servers starts. I'll make a controller like xamp-control to be more easy to control and don't have to stay with black bat window opened. All paths are relatives, so it starts in any directory of any computer, pendrive, external hd, etc with just a simple click (httpd.conf modifications). And why i need id? I need it because i *have* to use xampp, sometimes i work on computers that are total blocked to install anything! And i use xamp and other portables like eclipse, mysql workbench, etc. * The only think i cant port is snap-in (mmc) but like a portable workarround its ok. Any one know a way to register (without the installer) the visual SVN snapin? obs: i know that must be administration rights on machine, but if any one (or visual svn team) can tell me a way to register this snap-in without the installer, i'll appreciate. Now, i have a svn portable too, but not the grafical interface to admin and create users and repositories. Im thinking install one php based admin for svn, but like to know if visualsvnserver uses same password encoding from original svn server? If yes, will be the perfect portable solution for me. Another question is, i just port my version, now some friends are asking me to share, im thinking to cerate a google code project and share this like "svn portable" or "visual svn portable" Any VisualSVN team can tell me if i can do is? Visual SVN team agree? I'll keep all credits, images and names for visual svn team. So, can i do it? Thanks i advanced.
