As a followup to an earlier question, yes I realize this functionality exists in TortoiseSVN, however we also need it via a web interface as we have offline users that only have web access and only need to be able to compare files etc, not check things in and out.
I will install websvn at the moment but I would much prefer one product to do both. So for me, there are 2 major things that the server product is missing that would make it the best thing around (and I would not mind paying for if it was a commercial offering): 1. web access to view file history, diff files etc 2. web based administration for administration (creating repositories etc remotely) Cheers, Andy On Feb 17, 8:26 pm, Jon Sagara <[email protected]> wrote: > I'd just like to throw in my vote for these features, too. > > Thanks, > > Jon > > On Feb 16, 2:48 pm, VisualSVN Support <[email protected]> wrote: > > > Hello! > > > >Are there any plans on adding this type of functionality? > > > There is no such functionality in VisualSVN Server now, but we'll > > consider your proposal in future versions. > > > On Tue, Feb 17, 2009 at 12:09 AM, ding <[email protected]> wrote: > > > > One thing that I miss terribly is the ability to diff files and view > > > file history when viewing source code through the web view of > > > visualsvn > > > > For example: > > > > websvn (http://www.websvn.info) provides > > > > Colourisation of file listings > > > Blame view > > > Log message searching > > > RSS feed support > > > view and diff via file history > > > > Are there any plans on adding this type of functionality? > > > Or there some configuration options I need to activate to make my web > > > viewing code functional? > > > Or do I need to install websvn instead? > > > -- > > Olga Dolidze > > VisualSVN Support
