We just upgraded to 2.5.1 (and upgraded our clients to TortoiseSVN
1.7.1 - not using VisualSVN client) and now no one can get code. We
use Windows auth (basic) and are on Windows 2008 R2 64-bit.

The error is: "Not authorized to open root of edit operation".
Regarding permissions:

- service runs as a domain admin account (for now) with full access to
C: and subfolders.
- all users are in a windows group with Read/Write on the root and all
repositories.
- I've tried toggling https on/off (was off before) to no avail.

I didn't make any config changes and the upgrade appeared to succeed,
but now no one can connect. Our whole dev team is dead in the water.
Have been googling this all morning but haven't found a fix/
workaround.

Suggestions? Also does anyone know if upgrading to the Enterprise
(paid) version is valuable in terms of getting support?

Thanks.
