Hello,

I at one point had VisualSVN working with active check in and out
between myself and a couple people. However, we have not been working
on it due to Christmas and when I returned tonight to create a new
repo with it, I noticed that the application said the startup was
pending. I rebooted and it didn't change. I then made sure that the
VisualSVN service is running, but it was stuck in its 'starting'
state. I tried to restart the server but that didn't work either. It
failed with the following error:

"VisualSVN Server service failed to restart:
Cannon control service: The service cannot accept control messages at
this time. (0x80070425)

Please check the VisualSVN Server log in Event Viewer for more
details."

I check out the event viewer and the only message in it regarding the
error is "Cannot control service: The service cannot accept control
messages at this time. (0x80070425)" with a Event ID of 2000.

I tried to stop the service but it times out on me. I then proceeded
to do a repair and that did not work either due to the installer being
unable to stop the service. I'm not super familiar with recovering a
repo if I perform a uninstall and then re-install the software.

Are there any fixes available for this issue? What happens if I try
to uninstall it but it fails due to not being able to stop the
service? I don't want to leave broken services sitting on my
computer.

Thanks in advance!
