We were testing a Migration from z/VM 430 to z/VM 510 and when we were up on 510 none of our TCP/IP printers on RSCS were able to print.
RSCS is defined in the PORT section for port 515, in the SYSTEM TCPIP file, but I remember some issues concerning Secure ports and RSCS during other migrations. I could not find anything on Marist and searching the Listserve turned up nothing.
Here are the messages in RSCS we were getting.
DMTLPR193I Link XRXSTD connecting to host 10.45.1.235 port 515 printer
DMTLPR083E Socket error on link XRXSTD request=Bind
DMTLPR083E return code=- 1 error number=13 (Permission denied)
DMTLPR193I Link NMPPCL5 connecting to host 10.32.64.39 port 515 printer

DMTLPR083E return code=- 1 error number=13 (Permission denied)
