The whole Tk::Event stuff is new-ish and fragile. Yes a hunk of "core glue"
was needed in Tk::Event but was just copy/pasted there. With shared libs
this is just harmless waste of memory. I just (minutes ago) finished 
changes to make Tk.so use the versions in Tk::Event and remove the duplicates.
But there is still the issue of "dead" tcl*.o files living in libpTk.a
with real ones being in Event/tcl*.o (I appologise of UNIX speak).

This seems to be an issue with some UNIXes too.
