I just updated some of the contents of the Perl 5.6.0 page on http://www.crinoid.com/perl560.htmlx -> VMS::FileUtils::Root add 'O_VMS' option for returning VMSish filenames -> CPAN.pm patch, improved handling of .tar-gz files, cleaning up source directories, and making it possible to use local files to mirror CPAN. This change requires the use of : -> patch to GZIP 1.2.4a to allow commandline redirection (on top of Peter Prymmer's previous patch, also provided).
