I don't much care about the bloat, but then at this point I'm used to folks
tossing 36G drives around like Cracker Jacks prizes, and we all know how
cheap *those* are these days. :)
I'm hoping to give the optimizer a bit of a boost for one of the 5.7 dev
releases. Some of the opcode combining things that've cropped up from time
to time, as well as some other tweaks and thwacks. (I didn't realize until
the other day that we don't particularly cache inherited methods and such.
No wonder the OO stuff sucks cycles so badly...)
