Slightly O/T - just to say that CHECKSUM does not always produce different
results, even on very different files.

In particular, we found that using it on savesets was not very helpful, as
the same checksum was produced for several different savesets. This may well
be an artefact of the way checksum handles savesets. However, I think it is
much less likely that two different source files will generate the same
checkums.

DIFF /OUT=NL: is guaranteed (one hopes!) to detect differences; otherwise
one can use a digest such as MD5.

[For an example application of MD5, the latest TPJ has an interesting
article on Inline.]
