I agree - both with this sentiment and your suggested regular expression
solution to making the test more rigorous. Unfortunately mail transit
glitches at my end had me glance at your response first then I went
hunting for Robert's comment. When I eventually found his in my incoming
queue (it had arrived after yours for some reason) I had formed the
incorrect impression that you had suggested a less rigorous regular
expression. Your suggestion of C<!~ /^localhost(?:\..+)?$/i;> works here
and I'll issue a patch against the next .tgz kit release if that
modification is not already in it.
