I think that Jarkko has applied the other patch.  I issued this separate
patch against Perl 5.005_03 since that is still in pretty widespread use
and the nature of the problem (failure to report "not ok\n"'s for default
builds of modules from CPAN) seemed so serious.  (FWIW I intend to rewrite
one of my VMS specific modules to no longer C<use Test;> in it's
regression tests since I cannot guarentee that folks will apply the patch
to Test.pm).

If Schwern or someone wants to take it over I certainly would not object
to you removing it from CPAN.  The larger question of what to do with
modules that started life independent of the perl core distribution is an
interesting one, that I have no general answer for (other than "as author
I'd suspect you have a certain inalienable right to remove it from CPAN if
you want it that way").
