Since 9663:

$ p4 changes -m 20 vms/... configure.com|sort -rn +1 -u
Change 9748 on 2001/04/19 by jhi@alpha 'Add Time::Piece, a slight rewri'
Change 9746 on 2001/04/19 by jhi@alpha 'Move the strftime() wrapper fro'
Change 9691 on 2001/04/12 by jhi@wayland 'Non-UNIX platforms extensions u'
...

The last socket thingie I can off-hand remember was sockatmark() back
at 9371 or so, but I added that symbol in configure.com as 'undef',
so none of that code (in IO::Socket) should get compiled.
