     That "-query localhost" option did get it working again. However
just for clarification, I deleted the "twm &" line from my xstartup
file and replaced it with "dtwm &" (with /usr/dt/bin & /usr/openwin/bin
in my PATH) and it worked for me for a short while. It also did so
without having to do  "dtlogin" to the CDE. Then it mysteriously quit
working.

      Also, on Solaris, you still have to "chmod 1777 /tmp/.X11-unix"
before trying to run a vncserver or it crashes immediately.
