I finally got winvnc to work on port 80 through our firewall - I can connect to it from some locations, but not from another location. As far as I know there are no 'outgoing' ports locked out on the 2nd network, as I can connect to other machines on ports other than 80.
If I define a port other than the correct one (-5820), it gives me an error message immediately stating that it failed to connect to server, but when I attempt to connect to the correct port, it does nothing. the process just hangs, which tells me that it sees the server, etc. I am just not getting the authentication dialog.
