        Heya. It sounds to me like you're having trouble between
the "Default" password that VNC has, and the "per-user" password
that is also has. Honestly, it's a feature. :) That is, when
you installed VNC as Administrator and gave it a password, that
password is only valid when someone is logged in as Administrator.
You need to set the default password in a different manner, as
described here:

FLOYD RUSSELL'S GENERIC WIN2K VNC CONFIG PROCEDURE

 1. Install VNC
 2. Install VNC Service
 3. Start->Programs->VNC->Run WinVNC(AppMode)
 4. Enter your password, this is for the current user.
 5. Start->Programs->VNC->Administrative Tools->Show Default Settings
 6. Enter your password, this is for the local machine
 7. Close WinVNC
 8. Start WinVNC Service
