I have seen this problem in the past but have never found a workaround
myself. I don't have any Boreland development environment, otherwise I
would be willing to generate a test case and attempt to find the root of the
problem. I have a feeling it has something to do with the hooks vnc
installs to get updates. If we knew what exactly was causing it we could
probably find a workaround.

Subject: VNC crashes apps on server

Hi!

I am using win-vnc server (3.3.2 R9) on a NT 4 Server SP6. An application
written with C++ Builder 4 crashes after I am connected via VNC from an NT4
Workstation.
I've browsed through the mail archives and found out that this is known
problem for apps written with Borland tools, mainly Delphi. Nonetheless I
was not able to find out any mail describing a fix.
Has anyone else met with this problem recently? And can anyone tell me about
a feasible solution?
