I have gone through a lot of emails related to this. But none of the solutions seem to work :(
set-up: I have vncserver set-up on KDE. The xstartup file has the following line: opt/local/bin/startkde I can launch the vncserver properly. But then on my PC (running WIN XP PRO) when I run the VNC viewer, it opens a grey screen :( Doesn't seem to work! I have tried the following lines in the xstartup file too, as seen in some of the discussions: #!/bin/sh xrdb $HOME/.Xresourves xsetroot -solid grey startkde & this didn't help either!
