I don't know much about the specifics of the "CISCO 675 ADSL modem", however
I never had to configure anything in my ADSL. The router will need to be
configured to foreward the incoming connection on a given port (usually
5900) to the internal server of your choice.

Subject: CISCO 675 ADSL MODEM - Connection problems

Hello,

I have a CISCO 675 ADSL modem and a Netgear MR314 Wireless Router.

We are trying to use VNC for remote desktop support. Currently I can connect
to other computers over the internet, however no one can connect to my
machine.

The DSL modem is connected to the Netgear Router and my desktop is connected
to the router.

Do I have to open up any ports on the DSL or the Netgear Router? I am not a
network guru so any help would be appreciated.
