The "Add New Client" is described in the documentation as: "This allows outgoing connections to be made from the server to any "listening" viewer. "

No. > Does 'Outgoing' refers to initiator of connection, vs > whether it comes from 'viewer' or 'VNCserver'? Yes. The "Server" is the machine that is being controlled. The "Viewer" is the machine doing the controlling. You can create the connection from either side. On the Server you use the "Add New Client" and give it the hostname or address of a viewer. On the Viewer you use the vncviewer.exe program and give it the hostname or address of the Server. > > Q2: On which mailing list/web file can one get advice > on making W2K connections between computers work > again? > > Brian Cady In the archives I only see your questions regarding WinCE devices. Have you asked anything about connections between W2K machines? From your question I assume that it worked at one time and then stopped working? Please give more detail so that we can make an attempt to help. -- William Hooper _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
