I just installed the VNC server v3.3.6 on my home Windows XP-SP1
machine which is set to a screen resolution of 1280x1024. I enabled
the JAVA viewer. I tried connecting from work via my Web browser and
got the login/password screen. After entering the password I had set
I got the following error:
java.net.UnknownHostException:[host address]
My work PC is a notbook computer running Windows 2000 SP2 with an LCD
screen running at 1024x768. I suspected that the difference in screen
resolutions might account for the error, but a search of the message
base here left me unsure.
Can anyone help me?
