At home I have one box with Win 98 and the other Madrake 9.0. So far I have been able to use the Win 98 as a server and the Mandrake as the viewer and it works fine.
At the office I have a small network of four machines. All of them are Win 98 machines, networked and online all the time over a high speed phone line.The fellow who installed it said that there was a firewall set at the box, whatever that means. How difficult would it be for me to get to my office machine from my home machine, either the Win 98 or the Mandrake box?
