Build 5.2.1175 (3/21/03)

Additions:

* Multi-Select has been enabled for deleting computers, moving computers, and pushing
VNC to computers
* You can, now, drag and drop a computer to another scan group in order to move it.
* Right-click on a computer and check the version of VNC Server running on it as long
as the computer is running a supported version of Windows
* The tools menu for a selected computer has a new entry to check who is logged onto
the selected computer as long as the OS supports it. This doesn't work if there is a
permissions problem or if WMI is not enabled on the computer.

Bug Fixes:

* I've done some work to eliminate the problem with missing computers if DNS doesn't
resolve. I'm not sure that it's totally gone, but it is much better

Build 5.2.1173 (3/20/03)

    Additions:

You can now stop, start, and restart the VNC service on an entire group of computers
Richard Harris' PushVNC script can be called from VNCScan in various ways
You can copy the settings from the local computer to his script for deployment
Added the ability to check the status of a single computer on the fly without the need
to do a complete scan
Minor interface improvements that yield convenience
You can ping a computer from the right-click menu
    Bug Fixes:

Made better use of the MDI interface to "contain" all of VNCScan functions
Fixed a bug that caused the program to hang in certain situations if you cancelled a
scan
Found some situations that could cause a computer not to be found on the network and
fixed them
Fixed the bug that failed to update the scan timeout after changing it in the
properties until after you closed and re-opened the program.
VNCScan now remembers what list view mode you where in the last time that you used it
and reverts back to it when you open it again.
    Known Issues:

You can not use a single quote (') in any field in VNCScan. It is reserved as a
special character. A dot release will have a fix so that this will not be a problem
If you set the timeout too low, you'll get an error flashing really fast in the scan
window about a failure to initialize the system.net.socket. Increasing the timeout
should take the error away.
I've found one more issue that may prevent some computers from being seen if the DNS
name resolution is slow or not configured properly. I just found this one and I
promise to have a fix in the next dot release. Judging by the age of the code
involved, this is not a new bug and if you didn't see it in the current version, you
shouldn't see it in this one, either.
