I have looked thru all the documentation and still no help except for one message on the board that did not have a response. Running win98se, wireless 54g card. 1 gig processor. In server setup, the accept socket connections box is not checked. When you do ck it, apply it and close it. It becomes unchecked. When you try to do the viewer, click on the name of the system you want to view, you get an error creating socket. When you try to go to listening mode you get error creating listening daemon. It did originally work great on this computer untill...I had a 1.6mbs Point to Point wirless Usb network access point installed, pc anywhere installed and McAffe anti-virus program installed. I deleted all the above at once when I installed the 54G card. It does comunicate with all the other computers thru the 54g card. I am able to look and transfer files between computers fine but can't run Vnc. I tried to shut down Vnc and close it out like stated in the documention and delete it and reinstall it. When you reboot and the screen comes up saying you need to enter a password for VNC, the box is unchecked for allowing socket connections which is supposed to be checked by default. When you do ck it, it unchecks when you minimize it. I have gone thru all I can find that has VNC in the registry but no help.
