I have installed VNC as a service on Windows 2000 Server. If I try to connect from another machine it accepts my password and then says "Connection Closed". If, however, I load TightVNC on the server as an application it works fine. I really need to get it working as a service so that I can log in and out of user accounts.
If I try to run "Show Default Settings" it says - "No instance of VNC could be contacted" BUT if I try and run the winvnc.exe file it says "Another instance of VNC is already running" ??? Any ideas - i'm desperate here!
