I tried typing in the following on the UNIX prompt: Vncserver :9 -nolisten local -alwaysshared -goemetry 1280x1024 And on my laptop, I ran vncviewer with the shared option. My window came up just fine but the colleague I am trying to share with typed the following at the UNIX prompt: Vncviewer :9 -shared And my window closed. Can we not share a vnc window between a UNIX viewer and a Windows viewer?
