I had installed and was using v.3.3.7 successfully for some time. Using
Windows 2000 uninstall I successfully removed v.3.3.7 from my system and
then installed v.4.0b4 beta. The beta version also worked, but because it
would cut out every now and then I decided to uninstall it, again using
Windows 2000 uninstall successfully, and they reinstall v.3.3.7 being more
stable.

I did this on two separate machines, both running Windows 2000. After
reinstalling v.3.3.7 on both machines - they would no longer connect.
Attempts to connect produced a few different error results. In some cases
the client machine would display the gray "Attempting to Connect" screen and
message, but it would just stay that way forever. Other times it would
display the "Attempting to Connect" screen for just a flash, and then
disconnect altogether. On a couple of occasions after failing to connect -
any attempts to reconnect produced an error message saying "Failed to
connect to server", even though it found the server as evidenced by the fact
that it requested the password. I'm wondering if the problem might be due to
something v.40b4 put in the registry that may not have been removed? But I
don't know.

Can somebody please advise me? I'm currently not able to use VNC and haven't
been for about a week now. I could really use it.

Thanks.
