Hello Realvnc community,
I am a new user of realvnc. Got it to work over local network at my
house just to familiarize myself with the operation and function. I want to use
realvnc to allow remote access of a computer over a dial-up modem. One
computer (Viewer) is running Windows XP. The other computer (Server) is running
Windows 2000 Professional. I've setup my computers to connect via the modems.
The server has been setup as incoming connections. The computers connect via
the modems. What do I do next? When I try the IP address of the server at the
Viewer I get:
VNC Viewer: Error
unable to connect to host: a socket operation was attempted to an
unreachable host.
(10065)
What do I enter at the Viewer to talk to the server via the dial-up
connection? What do I use to connect to the server?
Thanks,
B. L. Kizzie
