This is non servix pack 2 with firewall off and no external firewall. I can ping from the local segment but not from the internet which is fine, I can FTP to the system VIA the internet so I even tried to set the VNC port to 21 and same deal, when I hover the mouse over the tray icon it says not accepting connections.

Can you ping the VNC server? Can you Telnet to the port? -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of DILATED_ONE Sent: Tuesday, September 14, 2004 8:04 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Not accepting connections So I did a search and did not find anything on this topic as such,. I run a ton of instances of different VNC clients all over my network. 1 WXP pro system on a HP laptop gives me issues. No matter what version of VNC I use it always say not accepting connections, im not sure how to fix this. I change ports, and same deal. Un install , re install reboot , blah blah blah. Not sure what the issue is. _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] To remove yourself from the list visit: http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] To remove yourself from the list visit: http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
