installing vnc on a suse linux 9.1 operating system

hi i have just installed suse linux 9.1 personal on my computer i was 
wondering how you installed it because i have always used mswindows i was 
hoping that someone could give me a walk through because all i have is loads 
of files that are script but no program apart from the vnc viewer the system 
desktop is the kde one that is installed with suse linux 9.1 please help me 
out in how to install it and what i need to do so
