Most computers can run vnc viewers with no problem. Only one computer running windows XP can not connect to remote vnc server running in redhat linux 8.0. But it can still connect to vnc server running in windows! I got the error "read: connection reset by peer(10054)" I checked the server log: Connections: accepted: 10.173.29.39::2061 Sconnection: Client needs protocol version 3.3 Client: server default pixel format depth 16 (16bpp) little-endian rgb565 Connections: closed: 10.173.29.39::2061 (Non-shared connection requested) Client: Client pixel format depth 8 (8bpp) bgr233 Client: Client pixel format depth 16 (16bpp) little-endian rgb565 I uninstall all my firewalls. I turned off XP firewall, too. I can ping the remote sever. I can connect to any vnc servers running in Linux. I reinstall and re-run the server and viewer. No luck at all. I searched the archive mailing list, No luck. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
