The TightVNC installer can work in silent mode and not ask questions during
installation (but it's possible that it might show message boxes if there
are any errors). In this mode TightVNC will be installed into the default
directory, that is, the TightVNC subdirectory in the Program Files). Here is
the command line to install TightVNC in silent mode:

tightvnc-1.2.9-setup.exe /sp- /verysilent
---

This is standard functionality of the Innosetup installer, which is what the
standard VNC releases use - it's not specific to the TightVNC project,
although the command-line syntax may differ if the chosen installer system
changes. :)

---
TightVNC is my favorite version but the RealVNC stuff is compatible with
TIght. I don't know about the other way around
---

Actually, it's the other way around - since TightVNC is based on the
standard VNC codebase, it's more accurate to say that TightVNC is compatible
with VNC(*). :)

Cheers,

Wez @ RealVNC Ltd.

(*) Except for the odd bug here and there, but the important thing is that
it's _designed_ to be fully VNC-compatible.
