Hi, I am sure it is not a matter with windows firewall or ports, as the changes I made for my OS hardening deal with file permissions (NTFS), user rights assignments (secpol.msc) & disabling unncessary services (services.msc). I suspected it might be user rights assignments but I tested for 2 cases (access this computer from the network) (deny access to this computer via the network) but it appears that these 2 do not affect vnc services.

However, after I did some OS hardening, I am no longer able to access the windows machine. The subject "ReadFromRFBServer: rdr::EndOfStream" is the message I receive after failing to access my windows machine. Does vncviwer require certain services in services.msc or to set specific settings in the user rights assignments in secpol.msc on the windows machine? regards, Joshua _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list VNC-List@realvnc.com To remove yourself from the list visit: http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list _______________________________________________ VNC-List mailing list VNC-List@realvnc.com To remove yourself from the list visit: http://www.realvnc.com/mailman/listinfo/vnc-list
