So I followed the instructions @

vncserver :0

I don't think this `vncserver :0` is listed in the documentation.

I get a /tmp/.X0-lock error

If you set your server in text-mode (`init 3` on most distro's) then it might work. It is because `vncserver :0` tries to start an Xserver (e.g. Xvnc) at display :0 but your machine already has an Xserver running at that display.

Any ideas?

Carefully check the documentation and your configuration and see if you can hook up. It should work.
