I do understand...now...maybe...whatever...it works just fine for my
small home network, which is what counts in the end...

I'd take this thread with a pinch of salt.  Robin is talking about how
the VNC Server works, and is unfortunately mistaken, while
"Gobbledegeek" is seemingly talking about the VNC module for XFree86, or
about Xvnc.

If your machine is headless, how would you be able to see the
screensaver, even if it was running?
