I have to make some commnets about this thing. After I tried vnc and its features, I was plaing around and asked myself if I can view some movies. Unfortunately media player does not display anything. But I have another player (vlc) where you can disable the overlay video output. In this case you can watch movies, but even if the network is fast, it still moves in frames. BUT, if you constantly move the movie window, you get almost a smooth playback.
