Hi,

VNC Viewer Enterprise Edition has improved support for non-ISO-Latin-1
keyboard input, so you may like to try that out.

I didn't understand your comments about Alt+S causing output in a
command-window to be halted, since you are presumably typing into a VNC
Viewer, not into a command-window.  Can you explain what you mean?
