Greetings,

I have a problem logging onto a Windows 2000 PC that has VNC installed.
I can not connect to the PC using VNC if the PC had not already logged
onto. If someone locally login to the Windows 2000 PC, then VNC works
ok. I access the VNC server via internet explorer (port 5800).

I have checked and confirmed that I am running VNC as a service. It
shows up as VNC server |started | Automatic in services management.

Anyone know what the problem might be?

Thanks.

In the Authentication page of the Options dialogue, do you have "Prompt local user to accept connections" turned on? If so, do you have "Only prompt when there is a user logged on" turned on?

Just a thought,

Stewart
