I'm using VNC on a small workgroup (4 XP Pro machines, 1 2K Server). All the
machines are configured to allow only a single specific NT user to connect using
the Single Sign-On option. Now, one of my XP Pro machines started giving the
following error when any of the other machines try to connect:
An internal authentication failure occurred.
Do you wish to attempt to reconnect to <PC Name>
I have tried (without any success):
1. Uninstalling VNC, removing all registry entries and associated files,
rebooting, and re-installing
2. Generating a new encryption key
3. Turning encryption off
4. Assigning a different NT user
There are no entries in the Event Viewer for VNC. This happened all of a
sudden. Once minute I was able to login, the next I wasn't.
If I re-configure this machine to use VNC password authentication, all is fine.
Please help!
Thanx,
ECWfan
