I am using Vnc viewer and it does not seem to be reading the host file. ..all
my other programs access it just fine, when i try to use vnc viewer and type
in a hostname instead of an ip i get the error: getaddrinfo: No such host
is known (11001). Using a hostname instead of an ip works with all of my
other programs (coreftp, etc). any ideas? my partner has the exact same
laptop and OS as I do and it works fine for him. Just not for me.
