What I have done, is create a user account for my clients in my windows
2003 server domain. Set VNC for NT logon authtencation. Set the
account to expire at the desired time frame and viola'. It works
great. For security, I have PC setup just with the only software they can
use, and use GP to complety lock the PC so the only thing they se and
can do is use the desired program.

I hope this helps

Subject: can I publish a demo-program in my server using VNC?

We sell educational software. When we demo the software to an
institution and they like it, we usually are asked to leave with them a
demo for evaluation. This we have do do on a temporized CD, meaning it
is the full product but 30 days after installation it stops working.
We would like to install the software in our server, give a prospective
buyer a username and a password and grant him/her access to use the
software online for 30 days, after which the access rights are deleted.
Would VNC work for this purpose?
