Ok, I did a little more digging in the archives. It appears that a user logged
in to windows would have some affect on VNC authentication handling. Is this
possible, and can someone straighten me out on this? I think I have some idea
how this might happen but honestly it's still a mystery to me. However, I get
the impression that I should not be logged in to windows when I wish to
interact with the server, but rather I should be utilizing the VNC "guest
login access". Anyway, I am confused why there isn't an authentication
challenge for a VNC session considering that I have set a password.
